Fundamental of Basic Electrical Engg Lab and Measurement

Equipped with a 3-phase induction motor, D.C.motor, Starter, Transformers, I.C. Power supply, Meggar, Multimeter, Transistor characteristics kit, LVDT, Variacs, (1-phase and 3-phase) and other various measuring instruments.

Electrical machine Lab

The machine lab is equipped with:DC shunt and series motor/gen., DC motor starter and associated accessories, winding connection study motor etc.Transformers with all associated testing equipment.Single-phase induction motors, 3-phase squirrel cage and slip ring induction motors, Synchronous generator and auto synchronous motor with all necessary associated equipment.

Electrical Power Lab

The lab is well equipped with following panels to study the performance and characteristics of various protective devices and transmission lines such as-To study the performance of transmission line, to study characteristics of electromechanical and static relays, MCB and fuse etc.To study radial feeder performance and different faults on transmission line, transformer oil testing etc.

Electrical Instrumentation and Measurement lab

It has various kits used in measurement such as Wheatstone Bridge, Kelvin’s Bridge, Anderson’s Bridge, Schering Bridge, Hysteresis Loop Tracer Kit, Wein’s Bridge, C.R.O, Function generator, LCR meter etc.
